FCA Non Regulated Operators

Where the investment operator satisfies our requirements, we require that to accept business from non-regulated firms and individuals that:

The controllers of the firm, in addition to the agent introducing the investment is not subject to a warning notice by the FCA.

We require that the firm and the agent introducing the investment has not been previously struck off the FCA register as a former regulated person, or other regulatory body.

The firm has a suitable process to enable it to satisfy the rules concerning financial promotion rules and the firm warrants that it’s process satisfies those rules.

The firm or agent is registered with the Data Protection Registrar.

If the firm or agent is seeking to provide the product to satisfy the requirements of Pensions Act 1995, under the statement of investment principles they can provide evidence of this through a letter from an FCA regulated individual or firm. In respect of retail customers, regulated advice must be given.
