A SSAS can lend 50% of it’s funds into your business which can then use that money for investment in residential property. This can be a good way to raise money for “mezzanine or bridging finance”. No personal right of use is available and your business must be property related!
A SSAS cannot directly own residential property, it can only be a part owner (not more than 10%) and there must be no right to any personal use – other conditions also apply which we can give guidance on this.
