A SSAS can acquire commercial property from a connected party (such as you), the business or through a third party such as at auction.
- A SSAS can also borrow up to 50% of the net value of the SSAS’s funds to buy the property. Any borrowing above this can be held outside the property.
- Purchasing property via a SSAS is regarded by our tax partners as one of the most tax efficient ways to invest in commercial property.
